The entire story began in 1969 with the introduction to wooden materials, where the fusion of the unique texture, scent, richness, and the passion for creating something new took place. Until 2014, the spirit that gave life to numerous projects and garnered numerous design awards in the toy and baby product industry resulted in the establishment of the Mamatoyz brand, with the participation of industrial designers graduated from Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ). In essence, Mamatoyz is not a mere beginning but the culmination of a lengthy process. The design team of MamaToyz, who had previously implemented many designs in the toy industry, brought together their experience, design capabilities, and knowledge of wooden materials. This collaboration aims to create user-focused, high-value-added, and unique designs. Each product undergoes a detailed market research process, where the design team observes the strengths and weaknesses of existing products in the market and collaborates with experts. The designs are tailored to suit the developmental needs of babies. All products are produced in compliance with CE (EN71 1/2/3) standards, ensuring that no harmful chemicals are used, and they feature Blue Angel certified water-based wooden paint. Every product is meticulously crafted using natural wooden materials, and a portion of them involves handcrafting. While currently providing design services to companies through Mu.ca Studio design offices, the team simultaneously nurtures Mamatoyz and raises their own children.
