Toy orders increase 42% on the back of foreign demand
Shortly becoming one of the top specialized fairs in the world, and closely monitored by overseas companies, Istanbul Toy Fair drew a huge influx of foreign visitors in 2019. The number of visitors climbed 69% over the previous year, leading to a 42% increase in sales. Indicating that they have been seriously motivated by these results, TÜYAP General Manager İlhan Ersözlü stated “We have already began the preparations for the 2020 fair.”

Now  the baris even higher for the first Istanbul Toy Fair at TÜYAP. Yakup Kireçci, President of the Turkish Toy Association, said, ‘In cooperation with TÜYAP, we are organizing our biggest fair yet in terms of business volume and the number of participants. Our fair will take the lead in the Middle East and be the second largest in Europe.’ Yeşim Ulusoy, Assistant General Manager of TÜYAP, remarked that they were working on making the Istanbul Toy Fair internationally competitive.
 

TOY MAKERS SAID “TÜYAP”

Starting this year, TÜYAP will host the largest event of Turkey and one of the top trade shows in the world. TÜYAP Fairs and Fair Services Inc. and Turkey Toy Association (OYDER) signed a partnership agreement to hold the Istanbul Toy Fair at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center between March 22nd and 25th, 2018.
